Enhancing the Community

As each piece of sculpture is completed it will be donated to the City of Prairie du Chien and become part of the permanent Mississippi River Sculpture Park. This major art park is located on St. Feriole Island:

Raise the aesthetic value of the community and the area.
Educate young and old alike about the rich history of this ancient meeting ground.
Bring many more visitors to Prairie du Chien to boost the economy, bringing more people to the park and to other attractions in the area.
Attract people who come to visit to patronize restaurants, lodging, campgrounds and shops. More jobs will be created because of it. It will be a monument for the whole area as well as a focal point for story telling, musical concerts and dramatic presentations.
